I don't know any reliable boiler engineers and fear letting someone with no or very less experience of these boilers exaggerating the problem etc.

Recently our Worcester Greenstar boiler became unable to start. The solution turned out to be that the plastic flaps on the bearing plate had degraded and fallen apart, so the plumber simply removed it.. I recall that E37 can be both for low and high pressure errors, so maybe your boiler is over-pressure? The main problem with my boiler was certainly that the air vent had failed (so there was air in the system which was not venting).
